Beyond COVID19 and jump into next market
KYOTO 4 food brands will start marketing event at HAO megamart in Singapore
Due to COVID19 situation, KYOTO’s sightseeing business is not recovered even in 2021, and we cannot see when COVID19 situation is finished. Due to many times of lockdown announcement by government, many of KYOTO local food companies encounter strict challenge against their management.
But we cannot wait anyone’s help and need to do something what we can do, 4 of KTOYO food brands decided to make challenges to open overseas market instead of waiting travelers coming to KYOTO.
Collaborated with Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank, Absolute Design Co., Ltd(Tokyo, Kyoto) is supporting this schedule. Absolute Design has unique sales channels like Korea, China, and South East Asia countries.
From top of June, we started an event to sell Japanese products at HAO MEGAMART (Grandstand, Singapore).
Before this event, Absolute Design researched which kind of taste/product Singaporean like and picked them up for this event. There were unexpected problems like English labels, overseas custom clearance procedure and sales management in Singapore, but we collaborated with partner company named “1 DEANNA MANTO EVENTS MANAGEMENT” and ”HAO Mart”.
After opening market door in Singapore through this event at HAO MEGAMART, we will plan to search more possibility to make export business to Singapore regularly.
